We have just finished upgrading BeeWiser with several new features: BW blogging, improved fulltext search, Followers list, enhanced Player control bar, Social Networking integration, several Slide Editor upgrades and enhanced RDF support.
BeeWiser Blogging
Every user can now easily setup his BeeWiser blog, by creating his first post.
You can do this by accessing Create menu and clicking the New Blog Post. Just
type in your post then and your blog is up and running. You can find on your
Profile page, or by accessing http://www.beewiser.com/mvc/Blog/User/[your
username]
Improved Fulltext Search
We have enhanced our fulltext search with PDF and MS Word indexing and
thumbnails for selected object types (PDF, images, videos). Besides documents
and files, you can also use our search to find users and explore their profiles
and trainings.
Followers list
If you come across a user with interesting content, you can start following him
, by clicking the Favorites „Follow me“ icon placed above his Profile
picture. Than you can easily monitor his activities on your homepage. In
addition, every user gets his Followers list, where you can see all the users
that are currently monitoring the selected user.
Social Networking Intergration
If you come across an interesting training you are really fond of, you can help
promoting it with several social networking services. Just click one of the
social networking icons under each training window.
Slide Editor Upgrades
There several upgrades and fixes in the slide editor: There is a Remove
Component button, at the top of every component. We have added grid support,
that should help you position your elements in slides more precisely
Enhanced RDF support
Every data object in BeeWiser has integrated RDF support. Just look for the blue
RDF icon at the bottom of the page or in object properties.
You can also start following BeeWiser buzz on LinkedIn, Twitter or Facebook (BeeWiser FB page
or BeeWiser FB
group).
